February 2006 –April 2009. Numonics is one of the manufacturers of the
popular Smart Board used in classrooms across the nation. My function was to write new
software to cross platform from Windows to the Linux and OS/X operating systems
using Visual C++, and C#.
I also documented my software and
wrote user manuals. We were
successful at porting our software from MS Windows to Linux and OS/X (MAC)
operating systems. I designed and maintained a test database using
SQL.
There were also user friendly forms and report generation. I also wrote control software for an
automated tester. Another cross
platform effort between Linux and Ms Windows involved C#/Mono Winforms.
Aegis Communications Group Inc. Los
Angeles CA, February 2000 to May 2002.
At Aegis communications I was considered the CTI Engineer. We had numerous web design projects
that used ActiveX technology. There
was also heavy database and C++ programming using ODBC drivers. My use of Java Scripting and Java
Server Pages (JSP) languages were also required.
Some projects required the use of Visual Foxpro forms.
Elanix Inc. Lindero Canyon Road Westlake
Village CA. July 1997 to February
2000. At Elanix I participated in C++ programming for Electromagnetic
Communications Modelling and Signal Processing.
Part of my job was to write user
manuals and application notes.
Another project was to use C++ for a Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) simulation. I was able to program the TI 6200
and TI 5800 DSPs to run concurrently with the System View program.
Consultant to California Microwave November 1996 to July 1997
At California Microwave I was heavily involved with a multithreaded application
using C++. I also did programming
for the RS 232 interface for Windows.

Nov 1996. At Dogbyte
Development I participated in a
extensive C++ graphics programming effort of an off the shelf product called
“Frame It”. For that effort the
Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) were used.
